Prayer
Our deacons set aside the month of January as a season of prayer. We have been uniting our hearts in prayer through the idea of "One Heart. One Vision. One Decision." We are also holding Nights of Prayer and Worship on Wednesday evenings every six weeks to spend time in prayer.
Our Interim Pastor
After prayerful consideration and godly counsel, the Ministry Council has named Dr. Brian Saxon as LBC's Interim Pastor. The responsibility of the Interim Pastor will be to fill the pulpit on Sundays. All daily operations and ministries will continue to operate as usual under the direction of our Executive Pastor, Mark Owens, and the rest of our ministerial staff.
Pastor Search Team
We collected nominations from the congregation for the Senior Pastor Search Committee. The Deacons selected twelve candidates who reflect the church's diversity. The congregation then elected seven members and two alternates. The search committee will choose a chairperson and begin the process of finding the new pastor.
