Media Ministry Associate

Lexington Baptist Church is looking for a passionate and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Media Ministry Associate. This part-time role is perfect for someone who loves ministry and production and wants to serve through technology. This position is part-time (approx. 25 hours/week, including Sunday mornings). In this role, you will assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of audio, video, and lighting equipment for Sunday services and mid-week events. You will support live video production, including camera operation, switching, and streaming, and operate or assist with ProPresenter during worship services. Additionally, you will perform basic edits of video and audio content for church communication and online distribution, maintain and organize production equipment and workspaces, and collaborate with the Creative Arts and Worship Ministries to execute high-quality worship experiences. Knowledge of digital audio consoles, stage lighting systems, ProPresenter, live video production environments, and basic editing skills are a plus. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to Sunday morning availability, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills. High School Ministry Director

LBC is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a full-time High School Director. In this role, you will be pivotal in guiding our high school students through meaningful discipleship programs, working closely with the Next Gen team to form a cohesive ministry to families. LexKids Summer Staff (College Student)

This seasonal position assists in both LexKids Preschool and Elementary Ministries, with the ultimate goal of helping children come to know, love, and follow Jesus. This individual will gain job experience in implementing an effective Children’s ministry. Duties include, but are not limited to, planning and implementing summer events, assisting with ministry programming, supply organization, large-group and small-group Bible teaching, and volunteer encouragement. The typical church work week is Sunday through Thursday with necessary attendance on Sunday mornings. Start date is late May and runs through late July.

Student Summer Staff (College Student)

This seasonal position assists in LexStudents’, with the ultimate goal of helping students come to know, love, and follow Jesus. This individual will gain job experience in implementing an effective Student ministry. Duties include, but are not limited to, planning and implementing summer events, assisting with ministry programming, supply organization, large-group and small-group Bible teaching, and volunteer encouragement. The typical church work week is Sunday through Thursday with necessary attendance on Sunday mornings. Start date is late May and runs through late July.

Student Summer Staff (High School Student)

This part-time, seasonal position assists in LexStudents, with the ultimate goal of learning more about full-time vocational ministry. It is reserved for students 16 years or older. This individual will gain job experience by helping ministry leaders in all things within Student Ministry. Duties include, but are not limited to, reading leadership development materials, helping plan and implement summer events, assisting with ministry programming, supply organization, as well as large-group and small-group Bible teaching opportunities. The typical church work week is Sunday through Thursday with necessary attendance on Sunday mornings. Start date is late May and runs through late July.

LBC Missions Summer Staff (College Student)

This seasonal position assists in the Missions Ministry in support of our local church plant, River District Church (RDC). Duties include, but are not limited to, planning and implementing summer events, assisting with ministry programming, supply organization, Bible teaching, and volunteer encouragement. Upward Director - Seasonal Position

We are seeking a passionate individual to lead our Upward Basketball and Cheer Ministry for the season. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full administration of the league in collaboration with the church’s ministries. This includes recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers such as coaches, referees, scorekeepers, and halftime speakers. You will also coordinate important events throughout the season, such as the Preseason Kickoff and Postseason Celebration, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively. Above all, you will work to create a safe, enjoyable, and gospel-centered environment for all participants and their families. Wee Care Children's Worker

Looking for a few extra hours of work throughout the week? We are currently hiring for Wee Care Workers who provide childcare for church events throughout the week. Evening and weekend hours are available. This position is part-time, as needed, and is paid hourly to share the love of Jesus and provide a safe and caring environment for kids. Ideally, this candidate will have experience with children and have a servant's heart when it comes to families with children. Must be 18 or older to apply.
