Weekday Preschool Teacher
We are seeking individuals to join our Lexington Baptist Preschool staff team for the 2023-24 school year to serve in our 1- & 2-year-old classes. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that serves up to 20 hours per week. Day-to-day responsibilities include the guidance and instruction of children, the preparation and implementation of daily lesson plans, communication with parents, supervision of their designated instructional assistants, and maintenance of a general classroom climate conducive to learning. LBP Teachers are also responsible for leading children into a greater understanding of Jesus, and therefore, should be sincerely seeking to grow in their own relationship with God. Our ideal candidate would preferably have earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or Elementary Education, applicable experience in a preschool setting and/or have some specialized Child Development Training.
Upward Director - Seasonal Position
This seasonal position is responsible for leading our Upward Basketball Ministry. The responsibilities for this position include: the full administration of the league in collaboration with partner churches and appropriate age-group ministries of the church; recruiting and training of volunteers to run the league (coaches, referees, score keepers, halftime speakers); the coordination of events during the season (Preseason Kickoff and Post Season Celebration); maintaining a safe, fun and gospel centered environment for the participants and their families.
Wee Care Children's Worker
Looking for a few extra hours of work throughout the week? We are currently hiring for Wee Care Workers who provide childcare for church events throughout the week. Evening and weekend hours are available. This position is part-time, as needed, and is paid hourly to share the love of Jesus and provide a safe and caring environment for kids. Ideally, this candidate will have experience with children and have a servant's heart when it comes to families with children.
