Operation Christmas Child
LBC serves as a relay center for Operation Christmas Child receiving and sending thousands of Christmas shoeboxes to children around the world.
This ministry works to assist families and churches who have suffered a disaster of some sort. We provide opportunities for LBC members to demonstrate the love of Christ by assisting after a disaster has occurred.
LaVie Pregnancy Center
Lexington Baptist Church helps support and partners with LaVie Pregnancy Care Center to provide Christ-centered support to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those facing a difficult pregnancy decisions.
Yahweh & Sons
LBC sponsors Yahweh & Sons Bible Church through the North American Mission Board - a church serving the Pelion area through Celebrate Recovery, Biker Ministries, and Worship.
The Backpack Ministry is an outreach ministry of LBC that provides weekend food for children who would otherwise not have meals. They provide over 90 backpacks every other week for in-need children of Gilbert Primary School.
Mission Lexington is a community-wide, faith-based organization that assists people of Lexington County in emergency needs. They provide food, financial assistance and housing assistance.
Lexington Baptist Church helps support Laces4Love, which is a non-profit Christian organization that provides athletic shoes and socks to elementary-aged children in Aiken, Edgefield, Lexington, McCormick, Oconee and Saluda Counties in South Carolina.
The Prison Ministry of LBC is an evangelistic outreach ministry to those incarcerated in the prisons of Broad River Correctional Facility and Lexington County Jails. They provide weekly Bible Studies, Discipleship Courses as well as Worship Services for these inmates.
Families of Hope
Families of Hope is another outreach ministry of LBC. They serve as a resource center, providing clothing, diapers, baby furniture and equipment to those who are involved in Foster Care and to those who are awaiting adoption.
Oil Change Ministry
This is a ministry of LBC to widows and single mothers of Lexington providing free oil changes, fluid level checks and tire pressure checks twice a year as well as prayer and hospitality.
Arise is a ministry of LBC who assists in light construction and housing repair needs for senior adults and those in need within the Lexington area.
Lexington Baptist Church helps support Daybreak, which is a ministry that offers practical services in a compassionate and responsive manner that encourages women, men and families to choose life for their pre-born child.
English as a Second Language
ESL is a ministry of Lexington Baptist Church for internationals that live in the Lexington area who desire to learn how to speak English. This ministry uses ESL as an opportunity to share the Gospel with internationals.
River District Church
In November of 2019, Lexington Baptist Church entered into a cooperative agreement to assist First Baptist West Columbia in a revitalization effort. First Baptist had been in a state of decline for some time, but now, with the help of our LBC Launch Team, health and growth are in its future.
Lighthouse for Life
Lighthouse for Life is a ministry Lexington Baptist Church helps to support that seeks to provide rescue and restoration, with a heart of grace, for those who have been victimized by sex-trafficking. They seek to educate the public on the dangers of, intervention from and prevention of sex-trafficking.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Lexington Baptist Church helps support FCA – a ministry whose mission is to unite faith and athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ! They’ve had this passion for 60 years now, and you can find this program in schools all across the nation.
Central Midlands Transition Center
This is a ministry Lexington Baptist Church partners with to minister to homeless veterans in Lexington County by providing Bible Studies on Wednesdays and Sundays.
School Time Bible
School Time Bible is a ministry of LBC whereby we partner with local schools to provide an opportunity for students to learn about the history and truths within the Bible. Students are allowed to leave their school campus for a period each week to study the Bible at LBC.
