Deuteronomy 6:4-7 tells us:

"Hear O Israel: The Lord our God is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Our baby dedications serve a few different purposes:

1. It is a celebration, alongside our church family, to celebrate the birth or adoption of a child as we joyfully thank God for the gift He has given us. Children are a gift from God. Psalm 127:3 proclaims that "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him.

2. It serves as a public commitment for parents to declare they will love God with their whole hearts, cling to His teachings, and pray continually. Also, they will model that behavior for their children and seek to lead them into a relationship with Jesus.

3. It serves as a public commitment for the church to partner with that family through teaching, encouragement, and prayers as they lead their children to Jesus.

We will have our next quarterly baby dedication on April 7. Please register by emailing Kristen King at
