The Signal

Our monthly magazine, the Signal, gives you a deeper look at what’s going on in and around Lexington Baptist Church. Click the cover image below to read this month’s edition.

This Month:

Starting July 8, our associate pastor, Mark Owens, will walk us through the book of Ephesians as we look at how God can mold us to make an eternal difference. Worship is at 9 or 10:30 a.m., or join us on livestream.

On Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m., we offer Life Design classes for adults. These classes are designed to meet you where you are and provide Biblical teaching for various areas of life. Check out this semester's offerings here.

Starting June 6, join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm in the Reception Hall as we tackle those hard-to-answer questions BEFORE your kids and students ask them! We would love for you to join us during this time to fellowship with other parents and participate in the discussions. For more information on the topics we will be discussing, click here.

Every Wednesday night at 6:30pm starting on July 18, join Rev. Scott Vaughan in the Fellowship Hall for the new pastoral series: Faith, Hope and Love.

Come show Dan Williams your love and appreciation for his 30 years of service at LBC! We are hosting a drop-in reception in the Fellowship Hall on July 27, from 6:30-8:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Non-stop fun, great memories with friends, and growing closer to God: we’re pretty sure this is why summer was invented! Camp Look Up Lodge is located in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, and completed 2nd -5th graders are invited to join us from July 24-27. Maegan, our elementary director, and both summer intern will serve as chaperones. Parents are welcome to attend with their children as chaperones. Registration requires a completed health form (available in the children’s building) and a $100 deposit (deposits are non- refundable) by April 15. Email kking@lexingtonbaptist.org to make your reservation today!

Our high school and college students are invited to go on mission with us in Panama from July 23-30. The cost of this trip is $600/person and there are limited spots available. Students will be doing evangelism, helping in a local orphanage and more--it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience we'd love you to be a part of! (TRIP IS FULL)

Beginning on Sunday, August 19, many of our Sunday School classes will be swapping their class attendance times with their worship attendance times. In order to encourage the growth of a multi-generational church that is in line with our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ in Lexington and around the world, we need to realign attendance between our two services. For more information and the full, updated list of classes click here.

Always dreamed of visiting the Holy Land? Join Dan and Julie Williams for your chance to connect with Israel on a seven-day tour this December! The trip is from December 27, 2018 – January 5, 2019, and for full details, click here.
