In 2018 Lexington Baptist Church was approached by Lexington Baptist Associational leadership about the possibility of partnering on some level with the then First Baptist Church of West Columbia. The Church was in great need of replanting. LBC began by providing pastors to preach, sound/lighting, and music. After one year we then entered into a Cooperative Agreement that placed an LBC staff member, Seth Stoddard, as pastor of the church replant and as LBC's Missions Associate for local Church planting. The church name has since been changed to River District Church. We have a team of LBC members who each week partner and serve with RDC members in reaching the West Columbia area with the Gospel.
