Let's Go to Atlanta's Fox Theatre to see 'Wicked'!
Thursday, October 30
Cost: $100 to cover transportation and a ticket
We'll see a matinee performance of Wicked at Atlanta's Fox Theatre. Reservations and a deposit of $35 will be due on Monday, September 22. (please note: deposits will not be refunded.) The balance of $65 will be due by Thursday, October 16. After dinner at the Blue Willow Inn, we will return to Lexington later that evening. (If you cannot go, you will be responsible for selling your ticket to someone else)

When Senior Adults Need Assistance
Many times, seniors need assistance in various ways, such as food, transportation, nursing care, etc. The senior adult ministry has compiled a packet of information on agencies and organizations in Lexington County that offer various types of assistance to seniors.
These services include Meals-On-Wheels, Home Health Services, Skilled Nursing Care, Adult Day Healhcare, Adult Day Care, etc.

Toys &
Toiletries Collection
The Senior Adult Ministry is collecting gently-used toys which will be used by Successful Afterschool Sites, our ministry partner in Dillon. The toys will be used as initiatives for the children, such as birthday gifts, good behavior, good grades, etc. Travel-size shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, etc. are also needed by the center.
Please bring your contributions of toys and toiletries to the Senior Adult Ministry Office on East Butler Street before September 8. |

Sunday Night Awana Volunteers
The Awana ministry needs men and women who love God, children, and the Word to listen one on one with the children as they recite the verses they have studied (approximately 20 minutes on Sundays). Awana resumes on Sunday, September 7. Click here or call 996.8843 fo rmore information.

Volunteers Needed for Ministry at New Agape Facility
A new Agape Assisted Living Facility will open soon in Lexington. Ten volunteers are needed to go in teams of two to visit weekly with the residents, sharing a brief devotional. Each team will visit once a month, and two volunteers would serve as substitutes. |
