Children are an important part of Lexington Baptist Church (LBC). We partner with families to provide nurturing, meaningful, and enjoyable experiences through which each boy and girl can learn of God’s love and His plan for their individual lives, leading to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. |

Wednesdays
Children's Choirs (Fall 2008)
Choirs are offered for children age 3 through Grade 5. Through choir, children learn about God, worship, and ministering to others through music. Their desire is to teach children to praise God using their voices, with movement, and with instruments.
Choirs meet on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. in the Children's Ministries Building. Preschool children will enjoy a Bible story, music and movement, and playtime in the Treehouse. First grade children will experience singing, playing bells, boom whackers, and other musical instruments.
Early Bird Classes for Grades 3-5
Early Bird Classes will be offered for Grades 3-5. The classes will begin at 6:00 p.m. Classes offered will include Guitar, Chimes, Creative Movement & Sticks, and Puppets.

Are You Ready for the Hallelujah Hoedown?
Each year, the children’s ministry sponsors and plans this huge outreach
event. People from throughout the Lexington community join with the LBC family
in a night of fun, food, and games just for kids. This year, we’ll have even more
stuff... candy, animals, Hudson’s Barbeque, rides, and more. But we need your
help! Here are ways you can help:
Candy: Donate candy for the children who will be trunk or treating. Buy an extra
(or more) bag of candy next time you’re at the store.
Trunk or Treat: Sign up for Trunk or Treat and begin planning your decorations.
We want to provide even more cars this year. What better way to spend the
evening than greeting precious children and giving them candy?
Volunteer to help with rides, food, etc.: Did you know that you don’t have to
work all three hours of the Hoedown? Volunteers are assigned a shift (or more, if
desired). Before or after your shift, you can enjoy the Hoedown!
Volunteer registration begins Sunday, September 14, in the Worship
Center foyer and in the Gathering Place in the CMB.
