MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers,” and is a group of mothers with children, ages conception to five years, who are looking to build relationships with other women in the community. We encourage, equip and develop all women to reach their full potential as mothers, women and followers of Christ.

We’re so glad that you are looking for more details on becoming a part of this new MOPS group hosted here at LBC. We know that you may have some questions, so please see the FAQ below for answers. If you have questions that aren’t answered by this page, please email Karie Phillips for more information.

  • Our next meeting is Thursday, February 13 at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Come hang out with us!

When and where are the meetings?

The LBC MOPS group will meet on the second Thursday of each month at Lexington Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall, which is upstairs in the Children’s Building (the red star on the map below).

What is MOPS all about?

MOPS is a community that can provide women in the same stage of life with the same real life experiences. MOPS Mentors can pray and guide you through experiences and provide real hope in your current situation. MOPS speakers can provide a perspective that maybe you haven’t considered or had time to think about lately. MOPS crafts can provide time for you to create something beautiful while sharing in conversation about life. MOPS play dates will provide times for you and your children to get out and enjoy community. MNO, Mother’s Night Out, provides a time once a month for you to go out with other women and refocus on the place that God has given us in this world.
