LBC is now hosting a support group for any adult who has experience the death of a loved one called “Joy in the Mourning.” They meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Are you a guy that loves the outdoors? Do you need a place to connect on Sunday mornings? We’d love to invite you to join the CAMO (Christ-and-Men-Outdoors) class! It starts on November 6 at 10:30 a.m. in room CHB 304.
The trip to the manger wasn’t an easy one for Mary and Joseph, but part of the joy was in the journey. In this Christmas series, we’ll explore the journeys of different people as they sought Jesus Christ and how we can learn from and relate to their experiences. Celebrate the Christmas season with us beginning November 27 at 9 or 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings through Christmas day.
Christmas at the Barn is one of our biggest and favorite events of the entire year. We head out to Harmon’s Tree Farm in Gilbert for Christmas music, a creative telling of the Christmas Story, live nativity scene, hot chocolate, Photo Booth, s’mores, bonfires, SNOW and more. This event is free and so much fun for the entire family. We’ll be there for two identical evenings: December 9 and 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Our Legacy Choir is excited to present “Share the Joy: There is Hope” in the Worship Center on Wednesday, December 14 at 3:30 p.m. We’ve invited senior adults from several area assisted living facilities to attend this time of music and praise. We’d love to have you join us as well.
On the evening of December 14 at 6:30 p.m., we’ll have a Christmas Night of Praise in the LBC Chapel. There will be no Pastor’s Bible Study and Electric Chapel that evening, instead, we invite everyone to attend this night of worship. This acoustic service will feature contemporary favorites, as well as Christmas classics.
We invite you and your family to join us for one of three Christmas Eve candlelight services at LBC. Friday, December 23 at 7 p.m. or Saturday, December 24 at 4 or 6 p.m. These are family-friendly services, and we hope you will join us as we celebrate the season together!
Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, so that morning, we will have only one worship service at 10:30 a.m. and no Sunday School. There will also be no Wee Care for infants and children that morning- you are welcome to bring your children into the Worship Center with you as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Coming in 2017
