We hope you’ll join us for our Christmas series called “Hope Revealed,” which will run from November 29 through Christmas Eve. This series will focus on the hope revealed to the world through the arrival of Jesus Christ. Services are Sunday mornings at 9 and 10: 30 a.m. The last message of the series will be given on December 23 at 7 p.m. or on December 24 at 5 or 7 p.m.
Senior Adults, our annual Christmas Banquet will be Friday, December 4 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll come together for a delicious roast beef dinner and entertainment by Pandora, a women’s trio, which includes Christmas favorites as well as music from the 40s and 50s. The cost is $10- please pay at registration, deadline to RSVP is NOON on November 30 to Marceil at 803.996.8843 or email@example.com.
Our WAM! Children’s Choirs and our Senior Adult Marathon Singers are coming together for a Christmas Musical called “Soccer” on Sunday, December 6 at 6 p.m. in the Worship Center. These groups have been practicing hard, and we hope you’ll join us for this great musical performance!
On December 11 and 12 at 6:30 p.m., join us for Christmas at the Barn! We’ll be at Harmon’s Tree Farm in Gilbert on both evenings for a great time of telling the Christmas story, live music, bonfires, s’mores, hot chocolate, crafts, a fun photo booth and even SNOW! This is a free event for the entire family- don’t miss it!!
Share the Joy! is a musical production by the Marathon Singers, the Senior Adult Choir of LBC. We hope you’ll join us in the Worship Center for a 45-minute program of singing and sharing memories, followed by a reception in honor of our guests from Lexington’s assisted living facilities.
Are you ready for some Christmas carols? Then join us in the Worship Center on Sunday, December 20 at 6 p.m. for our Community Carol Sing. This is a great, family-friendly evening where we’ll come together with the LBC Choir & Orchestra to sing seasonal favorites. Don’t miss it!
We hope that you and your family will join us for our special Christmas services on Wednesday, December 23 at 7 p.m. or Thursday, December 24 at either 5 or 7 p.m., all in the LBC Worship Center. These three, identical, candlelight services will offer you the chance to worship and prepare your heart for Christmas Day.
On Sunday, December 27, there will be only one worship service at 10:30 a.m. and no Sunday School. We’ll partake in the Lord’s Supper together as we remember the sacrifice made for us by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Join us!
During the month of January, Pastor Mike will be leading us in an evangelical series called “Encountering Jesus: Stories of Life” that focuses on the impact of Christ on those he interacted with directly and his lasting impact on the world. Join us Sunday mornings at 9 or 10:30 a.m. for this great series.
On Sunday afternoon, January 24, LBC will host a seminar designed to help you think through some of the basic steps in providing parent care. Cost for this seminar will be $15, which covers lunch and all materials and handouts. Then please join us for our next “Dinner with the Pastor” on Sunday, January 24 at 5 p.m. This casual dinner gives you more information about LBC and allows us the chance to get to know you better. Pastor Mike will be leading us in an expository series on the Book of Acts from February through May, called “Acts: Spirit in Motion.” This will be a time where we can dig deeper into Scripture and learn more about the work of the Holy Spirit through this great book of the Bible.
