Pastor Mike is beginning a new Wednesday night series called “A Sacred Assembly,” which explores five core principles of church and church membership, on March 4 and will continue through April 29. This pastoral study meets in the Chapel at 6:15 p.m. We hope you’ll join us!

The Hope of Glory w. datePastor Mike will lead us in new sermon series from April 5 through April 26 called “The Hope of Glory” that will explore the full story of what happened after the cross: the resurrection, Jesus appearing after death, the ascension and the second coming. We are really looking forward to this series that explains why we have the hope of glory in Christ!

Senior Adult Appreciation Dinner

This dinner, on Friday, May 1 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, is to honor LBC senior adults as we express appreciation for your service in the Kingdom of God and to recognize your participation in the ministry of LBC. All senior adults are invited. There is no charge for this dinner; however, reservations must be made by Monday, April 27 to 803.996.8843 or

Overcomers with date

The Bible is filled with stories of men and women that have overcome tremendous obstacles to follow God’s call on their lives. Beginning May 3 and continuing through June 21, Pastor Mike will lead us in a seven-part series exploring a different overcomer from the Old Testament. Don’t miss out on a single week of this powerful series!

Night of Praise May 3Join us on Sunday night, May 3 at 6 p.m. in the Worship Center for our Community Night of Praise. This event will feature contemporary praise and worship music performed by area praise band leaders (from EastLake Community Church, First Baptist Church of Columbia, Gateway Baptist, Lake Murray Baptist and LBC) along with some of their most talented band members. Join us as we exalt the name of Jesus and praise Him through this special night of worship.

Defeating the Spirit of Offense w dates

This four-part series will encourage us in “Defeating the Spirit of Offense” that is so common among believers. When someone wounds us, on purpose or not, that is prime territory for Satan to hold us captive to a vicious cycle of anger and bitterness. Marriages, friendships, work relationships and church fellowship are all affected. Join us on Wednesday evenings, from May 6-27, at 6:15 p.m. in the Chapel.

Monthly Mens Bible May

Men, join us for our last monthly men’s Bible study until the fall! We will meet on Friday, May 22 at 7 a.m. in the Reception Hall. Our guest teacher for this study is Foster Christy. Come for Bible study, food, fun and fellowship with other men. You won’t want to miss this!
