LBC is now hosting a support group for any adult who has experience the death of a loved one called “Joy in the Mourning.” They meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Ladies, come together with other women from the Columbia area for the community-wide IF:Gathering 2017! IF seeks to gather, equip and unleash this generation of women to live out God’s call on their lives. It will be held at Mt. Horeb United Methodist on February 24 and 25. On Sunday, February 26, we will have a unique time of prayer in our “Walk of Prayer & Lord’s Supper.” We will meet in the Worship Center at 6 p.m. then disperse across the campus in groups as we pray for specific areas of ministry. Then, we’ll come back together to take the Lord’s Supper as a group. We hope you’ll be there!

Middle school students, we’d love to have you be a part of Mini World Changers, a mission and service project weekend March 17-19, 2017. Our next Oil Change Ministry for single mothers and widows will be on Saturday, March 18 from 9 a.m. to Noon in the parking lot behind the Family Life Center. We provide free oil changes and car checks, so help us spread the word if you know some ladies that could use this service. We need volunteers at 7:30 a.m. for administration, talking with customers and to perform oil changes. To volunteer, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a part of Holy Week, we will have a special Maundy Thursday service on April 13 at 7 p.m. This is an incredibly powerful service where we will have the opportunity to visit various stations for specific worship experiences: intercessory prayer, foot washing and Lord’s Supper. Come be a part!
Easter Sunday is an amazing day at LBC, and we hope you’ll join us for one of three services that day: 8 a.m in the Chapel (no children’s activities available) or at 9 or 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center. This is the perfect day to invite a friend to attend worship with you- be thinking of who you’ll bring along!
Our students will be going on a beach trip from June 26 through 30. The theme for this trip is “Community” and it’s open to rising 9th through completed 12th graders. The cost is $275/person, and to register, email Kristen at email@example.com.
