This Week at LBC:
For Sunday, September 21
Going on Now:
Our belief is that the Lord is leading Lexington Baptist Church to a new expression of worship where the old distinctions of “traditional,” “contemporary” and even “blended” no longer apply. Join us in praying intentionally for our church family as we enter this new worship experience. Click to watch our video devotionals and learn more about “ONE.”
Pastor Mike begins a new, six-week series on Wednesday, August 20 at both 4 and 6:15. The book of Philippians is one of the true mountain top experiences of the Bible. Its message is captured in the well known promise: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” In our modern world, with fear and anxiety on every heart, the timeless message of this portion of God’s Word has special meaning.
