Join us weekly at 6:30p.m. for Electric Chapel. We’ll gather in the LBC Chapel for for this new service, complete with familiar elements such as music and teaching plus some new things designed to help you engage in our time together. Wee Care is available for children from birth to age five- older children are welcome to join you.
LBC is now hosting a support group for any adult who has experience the death of a loved one called “Joy in the Mourning.” They meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Lex Kids Worship & Arts children’s choirs practice weekly on Sundays at 6 p.m. We have a place for children ages three through fifth grade. If your child loves music, this is a great place to get them plugged in! We’ll see you in the Children’s Building on Sunday!
We are beginning two new Discipleship Groups (D Groups) for adults Wednesday, October 5 at 6:30 p.m. The first is “Basic Sign Language” in Room CHB 203, led by Mark and Lelanette Hathcox.

Preschool parents, join us along with your children on Friday, October 14 at 10 a.m. at Fox Farm in Lexington for our next Preschool Playdate. We’ll have a great time with horse rides, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo and more!
Our biggest outreach event of the year is coming up on Thursday, October 27: Light up the Night! We’ll come together in the main LBC Parking Lot for trunk or treat, rides, games, music and more. Admission is free, so tell everyone you know! There will be several food trucks on-site where you can purchase food.
Light up the Night is almost here, which means we need lots and lots of candy! This year we are having a candy competition between our adult Sunday School classes, and the class to bring in the most bags will win breakfast, courtesy of LBC! Help us reach our goal of 1,000 bags!
Students, join us after the game on October 28 at 9 p.m. in the FLC for “5th Quarter.” We’ll have food, inflatables, video games and more- do not miss this awesome night!

We had an amazing kick-off event for our women’s ministry back in September, and we are so excited to announce that we’re holding “Created” gathering events every other month to continue what we’ve started. November 3 is our first gathering, and we’ll come together at 7 p.m. in the Reception Hall for fellowship, creativity (we’ll be making seasonal burlap door hangers) and teaching. Are you a guy that loves the outdoors? Do you need a place to connect on Sunday mornings? We’d love to invite you to join the CAMO (Christ-and-Men-Outdoors) class! It starts on November 6 at 10:30 a.m. in room CHB 304.
Parents, is it time for a date night? Let LBC help! Drop your kiddos off with us on November 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. for a night of fun, while you and your spouse spend some quality time alone. You’ll have four hours together, and we’ll even give you a pre-planned date kit to help you figure out what to do with all of that free time! The cost is $10/child with a $25 family maximum. This amount includes a pizza dinner for your children. Sign up in the Children’s Lobby starting October 23- space will fill up quickly!

Elementary kids, it’s time for another Small Group Hangtime on Sunday, November 13! Join us right after church for pizza in your Sunday School classroom, then we’ll take the church bus to J.C.’s Bowling for a fun afternoon together. Thanksgiving is a time for family… that means your church family, too! We invite you and your family to our Family Thanksgiving & Lord’s Supper on Wednesday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. We’ll enjoy a turkey dinner with all the fixings, and following dinner will observe the Lord’s Supper together. RSVP online or by calling the main church office. Regular Wednesday dinner charges do apply.
The trip to the manger wasn’t an easy one for Mary and Joseph, but part of the joy was in the journey. In this Christmas series, we’ll explore the journeys of different people as they sought Jesus Christ and how we can learn from and relate to their experiences. Celebrate the Christmas season with us beginning November 27 at 9 or 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings through Christmas day.
Christmas at the Barn is one of our biggest and favorite events of the entire year. We head out to Harmon’s Tree Farm in Gilbert for Christmas music, a creative telling of the Christmas Story, live nativity scene, hot chocolate, Photo Booth, s’mores, bonfires, SNOW and more. This event is free and so much fun for the entire family. We’ll be there for two identical evenings- choose whichever one works best for your family: December 9 and 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Please bring a friend or two and enjoy Christmas at the Barn with us!
We invite you and your family to join us for one of three Christmas Eve candlelight services at LBC. Friday, December 23 at 7 p.m. or Saturday, December 24 at 4 or 6 p.m. These are family-friendly services, and we hope you will join us as we celebrate the season together!
Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, so that morning, we will have only one worship service at 10:30 a.m. and no Sunday School. There will also be no Wee Care for infants and children that morning- you are welcome to bring your children into the Worship Center with you as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
