Weekly Programming consists of Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Nights
Sunday Mornings at 10:30 a.m.:
- 6th – 12th grade meet in The City (upstairs in the Family Life Center). From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., students will hang out, get taught in a large group format and breakdown that days lesson in age graded small groups.
INgROUPS (discipleship groups) are small groups for middle and high school students. These groups are made up of 12-15 students that meet weekly with two adult leaders and are broken up by grade and gender. INgROUPS are a perfect place for you to form great friendships with other students your age, to build relationships with leaders and to develop an authentic relationship with God. Your group members will be encouraged to establish accountability with each other, have consistent personal quiet times, get involved in ministry and participate in fun activities.
Encounter431 (6:30 to 7:30 p.m.)
All students 6th – 12th will meet in the Family Life Building for a group worship service in our worship area upstairs in “The City.” This is a time for all of us to come together and worship in an authentic, life-affirming way. Encounter431 is named for the verse in Acts 4:31: “And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” (Acts 4:31 ESV) Our goal for our students is to be filled with the Holy Spirit and then move out into the World and speak His name boldly.
One of our core values of this church is: SERVE. LBC Students make it a priority to serve this church and community. During the school year we take advantage of Sunday afternoons to serve as a Student Ministry. We serve the shut-ins of LBC, partner with LICS, and attach ourselves to number of other community service opportunities. In the summer we participate in international mission trips to Jamaica, Honduras, and Nicaragua. We also participate in mission trips through M-Fuge.
