Our mission is to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating environments where students prioritize their relationship with Christ, influence their friends, and experience personal opportunities for growth and ministry.
We believe our mission is to make disciples in Lexington and around the world. Our church wants to see this mission lived out through these four values:
Worship – Students who glorify God in every aspect of their lives. (Psalm 86:12)
Grow – Students are on a life long journey to become more like Christ. (Col. 2:6-7)
Serve – Students are called to serve others in the church and community. (Mark 10:45)
Go – Students engage people with the gospel in order to make disciples. (Acts 1:8)
Where do LBC Students Meet?
When it comes to on-campus programs and ministries, all students 6th through 12th grade meet in the Family Life Center. On Wednesday nights, encounter431 takes place in The City.
What is The City?
The City is the name for our student facility. We have common area where students play ping-pong, play pool, watch TV and hangout. We have a newly-renovated worship room where all of our programming takes place.
What is the Golden Nugget?
Our Middle School pastor, Daniel Walker, drives a truck called the Golden Nugget.
